Multiliteracies and Design pedagogies and my current work focuses on applying these approaches to writing instruction and assessment;
Language teacher cognition and how professional development can maximize teacher learning and instructional effectiveness;
Language-learning motivation and how instruction can support learner agency, goal-setting, and motivation maintenance.
