George K. Thiruvathukal is a full professor of computer science at Loyola University
and co-director in the Center for Textual Studies and Digital Humanities. His work spans
many areas of computer science. He serves as associate editor in chief for Computing in
Science and Engineering (IEEE/AIP) and IEEE Computing Now and co-chairs the new technical
community on Social Networking.
