Greg Jones completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in accounting and business management at the University of Tasmania. He then continued on to complete a Masters of Accounting - Research at the University of Wollongong and researched the topic, "Use of emotional intelligence to develop graduate attributes in accounting students". He is currently enrolled in a PhD investigating the impact of NSW local government involvement in at-risk investments at the University of Wollongong. Greg was previously employed as a tax accountant and auditor. He was also a partner and financial officer in a sub-division construction business for 15 years and a licensed plumber. He was the Director of a property development company involved in construction and redevelopment of residential properties. He has extensive experience teaching across a wide range of accounting subjects including first year accounting, second year financial and management accounting, third year auditing and management accounting, post graduate auditing, financial and management accounting.
