Career Crossroads at the Top

Abstract
The article presents a case study of the career decision of Mark Betters, founder and chief operating officer (COO) of the strategic business unit (SBU) called Cupcake Software at 3XTech. Betters contemplated whether to stay at 3XTech to manage another venture capital business model or to leave 3XTech to pursue other opportunities outside the company. The article discusses the career paths at 3XTech, Betters's career transitions and achievements, and the company's management structure.
