Professor Johnson is the co-author of Land Use Controls: Cases and Materials (2d
ed., 1977, Supp. 1984) (with J. Johnston), and teaches land use and environmental law
courses in the Graduate Division of Hunter College. He currently serves as President of
the Eastern District Civil Litigation Fund, and is Chair of the Westchester Institute in
Bedford Hills, New York. He was formerly the Law School's Associate Dean for
Academic Affairs and Acting Dean from 1981 to 1983. Professor Johnson joined the faculty
in 1973.
