This is a response prose/poem to a notice in National Geographic, July 2007: It wasn't the cold or a fall that killed him, scientists say. The Iceman, a Bronze Age hunter whose 5,300-year-old frozen body was discovered in the Alps, was shot through the back with an arrow and likely died in agony.
