Gary L. Rose, Ph.D., is the Chairman of the Department of Government, Politics &
Global Studies. His teaching and research interests include American Politics, American
Presidency, Presidential Elections, Constitutional Law, State and Local Government, and
Political Parties. Dr. Rose joined the Sacred Heart University faculty in 1982. He is a
frequent commentator for various media regarding national and Connecticut politics. 

Dr. Rose received his Ph.D. from Miami University (Ohio) in 1982.
