Abstract
Extract:
Bond University has recently completed
construction of an engaging formal teaching
space, known as the Pod Room, named as a
result of its pod, or kidney-shaped, group work
desks. The room has been designed to facilitate
interactivity, teamwork, and sociability amongst
students. Our concept of this pod space is based
on an innovative design that has been successfully
trialled at the University of Melbourne and the
University of Queensland.
