About Rev. R. Gabriel Pivarnik, O.P., S.T.D.

R. Gabriel Pivarnik, O.P., teaches theology at Providence College. He has also served as director of the Center for Catholic and Dominican Studies (2010-2018) and the Vice President for Mission and Ministry (2013-2018). Pivarnik's primary area of research is in postmodern Sacramental Theology, but he also has interests in Liturgical Music, Semiotics, Catholic Studies, and Catholic Higher Education. His first book presented a possible framework for the development of a Trinitarian method for sacramentology and liturgical participation.
