Greener Transportation: Mitigating Climate Change
The Public Manager (2011)

Abstract
Frances McCormack and Frances L. Edwards assert that significant progress in the abatement of climate change is not possible without the participation of the transportation sector, the second biggest contributor to GHG emissions in the United States-after electricity generation. Although sustainable transportation is not a new idea, because it is directly linked to GHG emissions and carbon dioxide levels, it is an area of great concern.
