The development of computers, desktop and laptop computing, substantial development of software, emergence and swift acceptance of Internet and electronic communication, meteoric rise of the industry in the 90ýs and the ýdot.comý and telecom crash of the following years can be mentioned as significant events in the evolution of ICT industry.
