Abstract
Mining of ores and working of metals are as ancient as our civilization. Conservation of ancient mining and metallurgical centers is the duty of today engineers to educate future generations. Cultural Heritage Conferences for geosciences, mining, and metallurgy has been held since 1993. A review of these conferences is given.
