Fabricio Salgado is an Electric Engineer and Master in Electric Engineering of the
University of Concepción, Concepción (CHILE). Their secondary studies were made in the
"San José" Industrial School (Salesianos's School) on the specialty of
Electromechanical. He is an independent researcher on electric power systems areas
concerning to optimization, operation, and simulation of electric power systems. Their
disciplines of study have been: reliability, power quality, VAR planning,
environmental-economic dispatch, CHP systems, emission market and others. He is an
associate of IEEE Industry Applications Society, IEEE Power Engineering Society, IEEE
Computational Intelligence Society. Nowaday explores new areas of researches in
engineering as full-time academic in the University of Bio-Bio. The most important, he is
a happy family's father.
