Estella Schoen joined the faculty in Fall 2007 from public service and private practice. She was previously the staff attorney for the Appellate Unit of The Children’s Law Center in Brooklyn, New York and was an associate in the litigation department of Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler in Manhattan. Professor Schoen clerked for Judge Harold Bauer, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. As a law student, she was articles editor for the Minnesota Law Review.
