I am an associate professor at the University of Colorado Law School, which I joined in 2011. I taught previously at the University of New Mexico School of Law. Before entering the academy, I practiced corporate and securities law in the New York and Washington, D.C. offices of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. I teach business law courses, including business associations, business planning and commercial law, and law & economics. My research interests include securities regulation, with a focus on potential bubbles and periods of market volatility, regulation of financial institutions, and corporate governance.
