This study analyzes the Ministry of Labour’s internal administrative data to evaluate the enforcement of the Employment Standards Act. It was completed as a part of the Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Research Partnership “Closing the Enforcement Gap: Improving Employment Standards Protections for People in Precarious Job.” a led by Leah f. Vosko and Mary Gellatly. The partnership brings together researchers from seven universities, the Ministry of Labour, worker centres and community legal clinics from across the province, and involves Noack, Thomas and Tucker as lead researchers.
