A native of Perú, Enrique Ghersi's research interests are in the areas of property rights and economics of development. He obtained his law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and completed his doctoral training at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. He teaches at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas and the Universidad de Lima. A senior fellow at the Instituto Libertad y Democracia, adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute and member of the Royal Economic Society, he visits regularly at the Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala and the Escuela Superior de Administración de Empresas in Argentina.
