Abstract

This chapter explain the main characters of the italian regulation on press system. In the context of a univeristy handbook of media law ("The rules of information"), this writing analyze in particular: the constitutional principles in order to freedom of press, the legislative regulation of professional journalism, the deontology of journalists, the prerogatives of the press, the forms of public economic support to the press industry.
