Elizabeth R. Mock held several positions in the Healey Library from 1973 to her retirement in 2010. From 1981 she was the University Archivist and Curator of Special Collections, having established the archival program for the library. She was active in the Faculty Staff Union, serving as its president for nine years. Her research interests include the history of local private social welfare agencies. In 2007, she was the co-editor of the publication Hanoi Journal, 1967 by Carol Cohen McEldowney, published by the UMass Press.
