Elisabeth Keller received her B.A. degree magna cum laude from Brandeis University in 1981 where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In 1988, she graduated from Ohio State University with a M.A. in Higher Education and a J.D. summa cum laude where she was a member of the Law Review and Order of the Coif. She began teaching at Western New England College School of Law the following year. She joined the faculty of Boston College Law School in 1990. She is currently an Associate Professor of Legal Reasoning, Research, and Writing and the Director of the Academic Support Program. She also serves as the Law School Coordinator of the Education and Law Dual Degree program which is a joint program of the Law School and the Lynch School of Education. She has served as co-editor of The Second Draft, the semi-annual newsletter of The Legal Writing Institute.
