Abstract
Effective communication is about relationships more so than it is about “getting the word out there” (a commonly used cliché). Communicating to build relationships isn’t necessarily difficult, but it does require strategically developed plan. This presentation lays out a seven-step action plan for a development effort that will result in a marketing/ communications effort developed by each county medical society.
