About Donald Morrow

Dr. Don Morrow is a Professor Emeritus in the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Kinesiology and the Graduate School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Western University Canada. He teaches a broad spectrum of courses related to: Exercise, Health, Sport, and the Body in Western Culture; Sport Literature; Integrative (Alternative/Complementary) Health; Sport History; Health Promotion; and he is keenly interested in teaching methods. The author of a wide variety of research articles and 8 books (the most recent is Sport in Canada: A History, Oxford, 2016, 4th edition), his research focuses on Motivational Interviewing and life-coaching for health-related behaviour change; narrative writing and narrative critical inquiry; fiction and non-fiction related to sport and exercise; and Canadian sport history. He is an elected International Fellow of the American Academy of Kinesiology and Physical Education, and a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation.
