The Commitment Level Model is the infrastructure of a
local church strategy for developing the maturity of the
believer through three or four progressive steps of
commitment. This Research Project is an evaluation of the
application of the Commitment Level Model strategy in a
Baptist church in Asuncion, Paraguay. The hypothesis is:
"The Commitment Level Model is a tool for developing
believers through a process of progressive involvement in
the ministry that guides the believer toward spiritual
maturity and a life's mission of service."This Research Project will utilize four different
instruments to measure the specific behavior and value
changes in those making the three different commitments.
The instruments are in the form a questionnaire for each of
the three commitment levels and one interview given to all
participants. The conclusion reached as the result of this research
significantly validates the application of the Commitment
Level Model hypothesis for Latin American churches.
