About Doddy Iskandar

Doddy Aditya Iskandar received his Ph.D in Urban and Public Affairs from the University of Louisville with an emphasis on urban planning and development. He also holds a master of Community Planning with specialization in physical planning and economic development from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to joining the doctoral program at the University of Louisville, he was a lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Planning at Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. His research interests are infrastructure planning and policy, urban politics, comparative urban development and regional economics. He worked as an associate researcher for almost eight years and was involved in various urban and regional development projects, coastal development and management, infrastructure planning and development and regional strategic planning in Indonesia. He also worked as a trainer in various training programs to increase the local government's planning and budgeting capacity.
