Agile software development is the central focus of my research. This approach to software development provides a way to organise team-based projects and is of intense research interest because of its wide-ranging impact. Agile software development changes software organisations, project management, human resourcing, the pace of software development and delivery, the way teams work together and what they do on a daily basis, and ultimately has an impact on software project success. I have taught and researched in this and related areas for about 10 years and this field still throws up interesting new research questions.
