Stakeholding - A New Paradigm in Social Policy
Abstract
This introduction to a recent collection of papers on "The Ethics of Stakeholding" charts the development of recent debates on universal welfare, with specific reference to basic income and stakeholder grants. The chapter offers a brief historical background to the current debate before outlining the main arguments put forward in favour of stakeholder policies as well as the key areas in which they remain challenged.Suggested Citation
