About Dessa Bergen-Cico, Ph.D.

Dessa Bergen-Cico is an Assiociate professor in the Department of Public Health, Food Studies, and Nutrition. Her research areas or areas of specialization include alcohol, other drugs and behavioral addictions, evidence-based prevention and recovery; mindfulness-based stress reduction; the impact of military conflict on drug use, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), and the impact of violence on addiction risk.
