Ms Deirdre Jackson is the Director, of the Assessment Services Division at the
Australian Council for Educational Research. 

Ms Jackson leads the Assessment Services executive team in the management of high stakes,
selection programs for schools, universities, education systems and corporate groups
within Australia and internationally. 

The role involves managing and supporting Assessment Services staff in marketing,
business development, client liaison as well as project managing the development and
administration of tests and the analysis and reporting of results. Assessment services
are provided in either online or paper based format. 

Ms Jackson joined ACER following an initial career teaching English and Communication
Skills in TAFEs and universities. She has also managed and coordinated the commercial
activities of faculties across a university in the areas of Short Courses, Customised
Training and Consultancy work. Ms Jackson has executive experience on national consortia
and has had national project managing experience in the development of Commonwealth
funded learning materials. Deirdre is an experienced senior executive, consultant,
writer, teacher and workplace assessor. She has special knowledge and experience in
Public Administration and Project Management assessment.
