Dr. Deidre Pribram teaches several communication courses such as Film Art and Foundations of Media Theory. She is an expert in film and television studies, having published extensively in those areas. Her work also focuses on gender and cultural emotion studies. Dr. Pribram's most recent books are: Emotions, Genre, Justice in Film and Television: Detecting Feeling (Routledge 2011) and A Cultural Approach to Emotional Disorders: Psychological and Aesthetic Interpretations (Routledge, 2015).
