Professor Ganesan's interests are in systems, networking and data processing
issues in Wireless Sensor Networks. His previous research has included building a
distributed multi-resolution data storage system for data-rich sensor networks,
analytical studies of optimal placement of sensor nodes for data collection and empirical
measurement of communication dynamics in large-scale sensor networks of many hundreds of
sensor nodes.
