Symphony No. 2 was composed for the Centennial Celebration of Sand Lake Refuge, a 22 thousand acre wildlife refuge in South Dakota. The work has four movements, each represent a different region:
  • 1) Jubilant Refuge 
  • 2) Morning &Migration on the James River 
  • 3) Hymn of the Prairie 
  • 4) The Plains of Aberdeen
