<description>I conducted interviews with a number of practitioners in the field, and surveyed current popular and legal periodicals to present a picture of the state of affordable housing law in New Jersey.  The Note concludes that several aspects of New Jersey's "Growth Share" method for determining municipalities' fair share of affordable housing prohibit sound planning and undermine the legitimacy of the Council on Affordable Housing, the agency charged with overseeing these regulations.</description>
