Between Dixie and Aztlán

Abstract

Nonfiction. I was asked by the editors of this journal to contribute an essay on the Dixie flag controversy in the South. They wanted different cultural perspectives from writers in the South, including Texas. I wrote this essay on life as a Chicano in El Paso.
