Dr. Cynthia K. Sanders earned a Ph.D. in Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St Louis, Missouri, in 2000. Her B.S. and M.S.W. are from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She taught for four years at the University of Missouri-St. Louis before joining the faculty of the School of Social Work at Boise State University in 2004. After years of practical experience in social work and community action, Dr. Sanders has dedicated her research efforts to raising awareness of, and bringing about potential policy reform for women's economic, safety, and equality issues.
