Dr Craig C Julian BBus(WAIT), GradDipBus(Curtin), MB(Curtin), PhD(Curtin) Craig C. Julian, PhD received his PhD in 1999 from Curtin University of Technology and it studied “The Marketing Performance of International Joint Ventures (IJVs) in Thailand.” Dr. Craig Julian is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing in the School of Commerce and Management at Southern Cross University’s newly created Gold Coast Campus at Coolangatta Airport. Dr. Julian has accumulated approximately 100 publications in books, journals, and highly rated double blind reviewed conference proceedings. Dr. Julian’s book on “International Joint Venture Performance in South East Asia” was published by one of the leaders in international business publishing. Dr. Julian’s work has also appeared in numerous high quality international journals including the European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Macromarketing, Journal of Global Marketing, Thunderbird International Business Review, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics and the Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development to name just a few. Dr. Julian has also guest edited special issues in the Journal of Asia Pacific Marketing (now the Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics), International Journal of Business Performance Management and the International Journal of Trade and Global Markets. Dr. Julian has also won a prestigious large ARC Discovery Grant as an Early Career Researcher. Dr. Julian’s research interests are strategic alliances, export/international marketing and international joint ventures (IJVs). He is on the editorial review board of the Journal of Management and World Business Research and a Senior Distinguished Fellow of the Academy of World Business, Marketing and Management Development. Prior to becoming an academic Dr. Julian held a senior management position in a European multinational headquartered in Perth, Western Australia and set up their Asia/Pacific operations in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
