Connie Foster is Head of the Department of Library Technical Services (DLTS).
Located on the third floor of Cravens Library, DLTS is composed of five areas: Serials,
Bibliographic Access, Acquisitions/Collection Services, and the department head’s office
which oversees Student Personnel and Library Systems. The department has 7 faculty, 13
staff, and 10 student assistants. 

Foster is also editor of Serials Review and administrator for TopSCHOLARtm, The Research
and Creative Activity Database of WKU. For 2009-2010 she will be chair-elect of the
Continuing Resources Section, ALCTS, American Library Association. She is past president
of the North American Serials Interest Group.
