Abstract

On October 25, 2011, Claudio Grossman was a featured speaker at the Clason Lecture Series sponsored by Western New England University School of Law. Grossman spoke about how all aspects of the law are involved when discussing the various violations of human rights in the countries involved in the Inter-American system. From torture of individuals to disappearances, the economics of each of the cases influences everyone. Grossman is the Dean of Washington College of Law at American University and currently serves as Chair of the United Nations Committee Against Torture.
