An Assessment of Persistence for Domestic and International Western Kentucky University EdD Students

Abstract
The purpose of our research is to identify the barriers to Western Kentucky University EdD completion.
The WKU Educational Leadership doctoral program will use information from the evaluation to develop
retention resources, intervention strategies, and perhaps even more sweeping changes to confront the
obstacles to EdD persistence.
