About Christy M. Glass

Dr. Glass joined USU in 2005 after completing her PhD in Sociology at Yale University. Her research and teaching focus on gender and racial/ethnic inequalities in work organizations. Her current research analyzes the factors that shape the careers of women and minority professionals.
Dr. Glass has authored over 60 articles, chapters and essays. Her work has appeared in top journals in sociology and management including Social Forces, Work & Occupations, Gender & Society, Social Problems, Strategic Management Journal and Human Resource Management.
Her work has also been featured in The New York TimesThe GuardianNational Public RadioPBSForbes Magazine, Newsweek, CNBC, BBCCNN and the Harvard Business Review.
