About Christopher Monz

Christopher Monz is an Associate Professor of Recreation Resources Management in the Department of Environment and Society at Utah State University. His research specialty is recreation ecology where he has worked extensively on recreation/tourism disturbance in arctic ecosystems and mountain environments. Several of his current research projects examine the consequences of transportation systems on ecological and visitor experience conditions in park and protected areas. Dr. Monz has worked throughout the US and internationally in Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Australia and was a Fulbright Scholar for the 2013-14 academic year in Norway.
