Professor of Biology
Dr. Detwiler was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania in December of 1950. He has taught at The Stony Brook School and at Houghton College. He joined the Liberty faculty in 1991. Since 2005 he has served as Subject Matter Expert for the University’s On-line biology course and helps to administer the On-line degree program. He married Beverly in 1972 and they have five sons, John L, John C., Mark, David, and Josh.
