Abstract

This paper examines research priority areas for YouTube as identified by fifteen leading YouTube scholars. This expert group generated over 65 individual research priority statements which were categorized within primary research focus areas. The seven areas identified as priority areas for future research are listed as follows: Commercial Interests, Legal/Ethical, Media Management, Social/Political Impact, Teaching/Learning, Users, Groups and Communities, and Video Creation/Production.
