Dr. Chareen Snelson's current research interests are focused on YouTube, educational machinima, and digital online video. After serving as a middle school science and math teacher, she earned her Ed.D. in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Boise State University in 2003. Dr. Snelson has taught at Boise State since 1999 first as an adjunct professor and, since earning her doctorate, as faculty in the Department of Educational Technology. In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Snelson actively serves the educational technology profession in a variety of ways, including as a member of journal editorial and review panels, and as a member of conference program committees.
