Professor Pagano joined the OCU LAW faculty in July 2009, after serving as a
Freedman Fellow at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. The prestigious two-year
Abraham L. Freedman Teaching Fellowship is a longstanding program at Beasley for
experienced lawyers pursuing an LL.M. in law teaching, which Pagano completed in 2009.
She is a Phi Beta Kappa and honors graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
She received her J.D. in 2000 from Harvard Law School, where she served as a line editor
and articles editor for the Harvard Journal on Legislation. She also has more than six
years of private practice experience as a commercial real estate attorney, specializing
in the financing and development of multifamily affordable housing. Pagano’s areas of
expertise include land use, housing, and public-private partnerships.
