A native of Argentina, Carlos Ramiro Salvochea's own research interests are in
the area of civil and commercial law and law and economics. He received his law degree
from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina Santa María de los Buenos Aires and
took a joint law and master of business administration degree from the Universidad de
Palermo. He also received a master of laws from the University of Texas. He teaches
corporations and partnerships at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and lectures at the
Universidad de San Andrés and the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
