About A. Bryce Hoflund

Dr. Hoflund’s research focuses on health care regulation and policy, food safety regulation and policy, network organizations, and network management and leadership. She has presented her research at annual conferences held by the American Society for Public Administration, the Public Administration Theory Network, the Law and Society Association, the Southeastern Conference on Public Administration, the Food Studies Conference, and the Association for Budgeting and Financial Management conference. Dr. Hoflund serves as co-chair for the Regulatory Governance Collaborative Research Network section of the Law and Society Association. Dr. Hoflund has published her work in Regulation & Governance, Administration & Society, the Journal of Health and Human Services Administration, Public Organization Review, and Food Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal. She and her coauthors have written a book chapter that will be published in fall 2014 in Voices of Hunger: Food Insecurity in the United States. Dr. Hoflund also served as a guest editor for a special symposium on health care regulation for Regulation & Governance. Prior to joining the UNO School of Public Administration’s faculty in January 2009, Dr. Hoflund served as a Project Associate at the Virginia Tech Institute for Policy and Governance (VTIPG). She has also worked for the Nature Conservancy, the Carnegie Commission on Science, Technology, and Government, Senator Robert Dole, and Senator Connie Mack.
