Abstract
There is need for a fast and reliable method to detect Chlamydia trachomatis. With new technology, a technologist can be processing newly arrived swab samples at the same time that an old batch is being assayed. A technologist should be familiar with the bright apple-green fluorescence of the Chlamydia organism in the MicroTrack technique.
