N. Brock Collins is a former law clerk to three federal judges, most recently The Hon. Sol Blatt, Jr. of the United States District Court in Charleston, for whom he served as career clerk for five years before joining the faculty at CSOL. Collins received his B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1993 with a concentration in General Science and a minor in English. He graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1996, where he served as Notes Editor of the Kentucky Law Journal and had his own student work published. In addition to teaching Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing, Collins has taught Criminal Procedure during summer session. He has been the faculty coach for traveling moot court teams and is a faculty sponsor and coach of the newly-formed Mock Trial board.
