Ninth Letter is a nationally recognized and distributed literary journal produced within the framework of a multi-disciplinary course that replicates professional practice. The studio blends students from all disciplines and all levels, and guides them through an intensive 12-week schedule that starts with a selection of texts curated by the Literary Arts program and culminates with the production of a 200+ page publication. During those 12 weeks, students are involved in all facets of design and the production process and because of this they leave the course with an amazing depth of skill and range of work that leaves them better prepared to become practicing designers.
