Brian Kooy is the Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Middle East Studies Librarian
at Georgia State University. He holds an MS in Information Studies from the University of
Alabama, an MA in Philosophy from Georgia State University, and a BS in Music Education
from Duquesne University. Mr. Kooy's research interests focus on information ethics,
social media, and embedding library services and information literacy into the teaching
curriculum.
